   Mobile computing is a generic term describing one's ability to use technology while moving as opposed to portable computers,which are only practical for the use while developed in a stationary configuration for the use words, a technology that allows transmission of data,via a computer without having to be connected to a fixed physical link is mobile computing.
                   Mobile voice communication is widely established throughout the world and has a very rapid increase in the number of subscriber to the various cellular networks over the last few years.An extension of this technology is the ability to send and receive data across these cellular networks.This is the principle of mobile computing.

IBM Computers
IBM computer stands for "International Business Machine" which is made by IBM Company.IBM Company was established by Dr Herman Hellerith in 1923 AD.and it is the largest computer manufacturing company in the world till today.It is leading the market of mainframe,mini and personal computers. the IBM computers are more reliable,durable and high processing capability.It is also called IBM branded computer as its whole parts are developed by IBM itself.Generally these computers are more expensive than other computers. it generally develop computers like laptop, desktop computers,tablet pc palmtop,and other various type of computers which can be seen in markets or in other different fields.Nepal too used the computer of IBM company for the census by paying Rs 1,25,00 per month.it was a second generation computer which was brought in nepal in 2028 BS.

micro computer

A micro computer is a complete computer on a smaller scale and in generally a synonym before the more common term,personal computer or PC,a computer designed for an individual,or a computer that depends on a microprocessors.Microcomputer are designed to be used by individuals,whether in the form of PCs workstations or notebook computers.A microcomputers contains a central processing unit on a microchip a memory system,a bus system and I/O ports typically housed in a motherboards.
          These computers are called micro because of the use of microprocessors as memory and are very small.These computers are also called PC(personal computer)or home computers.The smallest of this category are laptop,notebook,palmtops computers etc.The size is reducing day by day and it can be kept on top of the desks,on top of your lap or on top of your palm.the advancement of technology is bringing computers with special features and reduced size.

Mainframe computer

 Mainframes are large, powerful, and expensive computers used mainly by large companies for bulk data processing, commercial data processing and other large scale operations such as bank transactions processing.The largest mainframes can handle the processing needs of thousands of users at any given moment.It is general purpose computing system designed for large scale data processing.It is very large in size with 100 sq ft approximately and supports large number of terminals more than 100 terminals.It is also used in network system.Its word length is 48 bits to 64 bits.IBM built the first mainframe computer system/360 in 1964.The main difference between a supercomputer and a mainframe is that a supercomputer channels all its power into executing a few programs as fast as possible,whereas a mainframe uses its power to execute many programs concurrently.Example:IBM ES000,IBM1401,CYBER170,VAX8000,CDC6600

Super Computers
A super computer is a fastest type of computer which performs at a rate of speed which is far above that of of other computers which harness immense processing power so that they are incredibly fast,sophisticated and powerful.
   Supercomputer are very expensive and are employed for specialized applications that require immense amounts of mathematical calculations.For example,weather forecasting requires a supercomputer,Other uses of supercomputer include animated graphics,fluids dynamic calculations,nuclear energy research and petroleum exploration.
    The primary use for supercomputer is in scientific computing which requires high powered computers to perform complex problems.Scientific organization like NASA used supercomputers for the purpose performing calculations,rendering complex formulas and performing other tasks which requires a formidible amount of computer power.

A combination of computer which is capabale of inputting and outputting in both digital and analog signals.A hybrid computers system setup offers a cost effective method of performing complex simulations.
  A hybrid computer may use or produce analog data or digital data.It accepts a continously varying input,which is then converted into a set of discrete values for digital processing.A hybrid computer capable of real-time solutions has been less expensive digital computer.An example of hybrid computer is the computer used in hospitals to measure the heartbeats of the patients.Hybrid machines are generally used in scientific applications or in controlling industrial use.

  General purpose digital computers range from pocket sized personal,to medium-sized desktops computers,may be personal computers and workstations to large powerful computers that are shared by many users via a computer network.The vast majority of digital computers now in use are inexpensive,specific purpose microcontrollers that are emebedded often invisibly in such devices as toys,consumers electronic equipments and automobiles

Analog Computer
Analog computer represents data as physical quantities such as electrical potential,fluid pressure,or mechanical motion and operates on the data by manipulating the quantities.It is designed to process data in which the variable quantities vary continuosly which translates the relationships between electrical quantities,such as current and voltage, and solving equivalent problems.Because of this feature,analog computers were specially designed in useful situations such as the flight of a space capsule or the changing whether patterns over a certain areas.the accuracy of analog computers is bad;they are limited for three to four figures of exactness alternatively.These are specific purpose computers.
    Although analog computer computer's features are commonly found in such form such as    speedometer,thermometers, and watt hours,but these are devices.They  largely have been made obsolete for general purpose mathematical computations and data storage by digital computer.
